IMM Color Trend Report Spring 2014 / IMM Reporte de la Tendencia del Color en Verano 2014
Ya que terminó Enero, nos dispondremos a hablar acerca de lo que pasó en la feria internacional del mueble en Alemania IMM COLOGNE (internationale möbelmesse) realizado a finales del mes .
En esta feria varios diseñadores se dan a la tarea de mostrar en un showroom lo más novedoso en cuanto a el mobiliario, pero este año se enfocaron en los colores que PANTONE proporciona cada año y para los que no tuvimos oportunidad de ir, aquí les mostramos lo que viene en cuanto a diseño este 2014 gracias a nuestros compañeros de decor8blog.

In this show several designers are given the task of showing in the latest in terms of the furniture showroom, but this year focused on the PANTONE colors that provides each year and for those who did not get to go, here we show what comes in design this 2014 thanks to our fellow decor8blog.
Rosa /Pink
Rosa pálido sigue siendo el color pastel! Lo que solía ser casi el único en los últimos años. Ahora vemos un rosa más audaz, tenemos melocotón, hay rubor, chicle, y un largo camino de otros tonos. Cuando se trata de color rosa pálido, a menudo se combina con gris buscando un enfoque más fresco ahora.
Pale pink is still the pastel color! It used to be almost the only one for the past few years. Now we see a bolder pink, we have peach, there is blush, bubble gum, and a long way of other shades. When it comes to pale pink, it is often combined with grey looking for a cooler approach now.
Rojo / Red
No hay espectáculo en el que no vas a encontrar algunas piezas rojas. En serio. Es probablemente el color que usted encontrará literalmente como un "hilo rojo" a través de todos los eventos de diseño de interiores, pero nunca se consideró una verdadera tendencia. Esta vez, he visto llover rojo, probablemente ligada a la tendencia burdeos hemos estado observando en la moda esta temporada 13/14. There is no show where you won’t find some red pieces. Seriously. It is probably the color you’ll find literally as a ‘red thread’ through all the interior design events but never considered a true trend. This time, I have seen red allover, probably linked to the burgundy trend we have been observing in fashion this 13/14 season. As a statement piece, it will bright any space, you decide if you like it on your side table, armchair or if you’d even go for a bolder sofa. So, are you open to bright red, burgundy, coral, dark orange, oxblood.
Púrpura/ Purple
Oh, sí, púrpura es mantenerse y evolucionar desde el más oscuro violeta manchado ya en la feria del año pasado muy, muy lentamente hacia un enfoque más brillante con un toque más femenino. Pero por ahora, con tonalidades oscuras son más comunes y la sensación general es de una cierta sofisticación y elegancia.
Oh, yes, purple is staying and evolving from the darker violet spotted already at last year’s show very very slowly to a brighter approach with a more feminine touch. But for now, dark hues are more common and the overall feeling is of a certain sophistication and elegance.
Verde / Green
Aquí tenemos de color gris verdoso, azul verdoso, verde musgo, oliva, chartreuse, etc, y el único recién llegado para mí esta vez ha sido un verde más oscuro y rico. Se ve preciosa en el terciopelo, muy masculino y sofisticado y pertenece a la combinación de colores más temperamental que hemos estado hablando en noviembre. El verde es caliente en todos los tonos, y realmente creo que se debe a la tendencia actual la jardinería de interiores. Verde sólo se siente natural, refrescante y si no se aplican en un tono demasiado atrevido, no se cansa de ella.
Here we have grey-green, blue-green, moss green, olive, chartreuse, etc. and the only newcomer for me this time has been a darker and rich green. It looks precious on velvet, quite masculine and sophisticated and belongs to the more moody color scheme we have been talking about in November. Green is hot in all shades, and I truly believe it stems from the current indoor gardening trend. Green just feels natural, refreshing and if not applied in a too bold shade, you don’t get tired of it.
Amarillo/ Yellow
Se observó mucho este color en la IMM y sí, hay un fuerte desplazamiento de Saffran y moustard pero Muuto volvió a surgir con una propuesta muy brillante. Otras marcas se inclinan hacia el curry y el color más oscuro.
This color is much noted in the IMM and yes, there is a strong movement of Saffran and Muuto Moustard but resurfaced with a brilliant proposal. Other brands lean toward the curry and the darker color.
Negro,blanco y gris / Black, white and gray
Si no se presenta en este momento está completa sin b & w. Y a continuación, sólo hay negro. O simplemente blanco. Además gris. B & W es el rey y reaparece en las rayas, puntos, galón, espina de pescado - que el nombre del patrón. No show right now is complete without b&w. And then there is just black. Or just white. Plus Grey. B&W is king and comes back in stripes, dots, chevron, herringbone – you name the pattern. All black on furniture is trending, white helps to set up light spots and grey is probably one of the most used colors right now when it comes to combining color schemes. It is the perfect ‘to go with’ or complementary shade. You find grey+pale pink, grey+black, grey+yellow, grey+white, etc. Italian brands use them in an allover look&feel for a quite dark atmosphere at their stands whereas the Northern countries combine a lot with white structures (walls and flooring), accessories and furniture. We can talk about the same furniture but the overall feeling is totally different.
